Home-based
Contract is 18 months

Brook Street is currently working on behalf of our Global IT Client to recruit a Commercial Content Producer. This is a home-based, 18 month contract role that will require some travel into the London Paddington office.

As a Brook Street contractor you will be entitled to 25 days holiday per annum, 8 days paid Bank Holidays pro rota, discounted gym membership, use of the onsite health facility, access to online learning and training, free parking and an excellent subsidised restaurant.

Salary: up to £57,690 per annum, based on experience, plus benefits

Job Description
In this role, the right candidate will be responsible for the activation, implementation and management of commercial initiatives to optimise revenues for our client across UK & IE.

Our client is one of the UK's most popular websites with around 24 million users every month. Our company gets the majority of its content from premium partners including The Guardian, The Independent, The Telegraph, Financial Times, The Week, AOL, Press Association, City AM, Sky News, GQ, The Verge, amongst dozens of others. Our 'partner-led' editorial eco system provides a unique and unrivalled depth and breadth of content that is expertly curated to inform, inspire, entertain and delight our audience.

Optimising revenue opportunities is pivotal to the ongoing growth of the company. Using our own wealth of data, latest content discovery and trend analysis tools (and thinking), the role is responsible for devising strategies and campaigns in partnership with Market & Editorial leads and PM's to drive new revenue initiatives and refine and refresh existing initiatives, through detailed analysis and insight driven actions.

Our platforms are lucrative properties for advertisers due to the volume off engaged users and overall scale. The active user base presents many opportunities for revenue generation via display, retail, partnerships, sponsorships and referrals. Working alongside Market Lead & Managing Editor, this role will help develop in-market activities to drive further revenue growth for the business.

Responsibilities
A typical day as in this role includes:
" Maximise commercial opportunities for Company News UK
" Conceive and produce compelling commercial content and experiences to grow revenues
" Form partnerships across relevant teams and departments to unlock new opportunities
" Support emerging opportunities and their implementation with editorial agencies
" Be the key interface between editorial team, tech producers and adverting agencies
" Manage quality, tone and style of 3rd party Sponsored Content providers
" Manage traffic shaping activity to deliver takeovers, sponsorships and campaigns
" Drive programmatic and exchange RTB revenue by optimising our products with the objective on increasing the ads performance, quality and visibility.
" Support the advertising sales agency in the construction of creative solutions and branded experiences.

Candidate Requirements
The ideal candidate will be:
" Analytical thinker, good with numbers, detailed and accurate & adaptable - Skilled user of data analysis tools and systems
" Broad & deep knowledge of digital media and digital audiences
" Strong visual presentation and reporting skills
