We`re working with a well respected Bradford based company, looking for an account handler to join the team.
This is a fast paced, organisational focused role. It`s essential you have previous experience in the insurance sector. Duties will include:
Arranging insurance policies for customers
Generating profits by ensuring existing relationships are managed
Handling calls from customers and ensuring guidelines are met at all times
Reviewing and checking incoming correspondence, checking for discrepancies and making suggestions where fitting
Keep all databases up to date with the progression of the claim, ensuring accuracy
Compose correspondence to customers
Compose reports on behalf of the loss adjusters, ensuring company standards are met
Cross selling and upselling
You`ll also deal with escalated queries from the claims department, ensuring any complaints are dealt with to company standards
We`re looking for skilled candidates with a proven background in claims handling for an insurance provider, and experience working within a regulatory environment.
You must have at least two years experience in a commercial insurance role to be considered for this role.
You`ll need to be an analytical and logical thinker with excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
We`re also looking for resilient candidates who can think on their feet and work quickly under pressure.
Our client offers a salary of £24,000 - £28,000 dependent on experience
