A company who manufactures products of which a large percentage are exported to all the EU markets and the wider world.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Commodity Manager to join an ever-expanding team.

Are you tenacious, good at sales presentations and great at negotiating?

Are you experienced in managing multiple suppliers?

This responsibility requires the management of the Supply Base and sourcing activities to support projects worldwide, in order to improve the quality and cost competitiveness of the organisation`s products.

Occasional travel within the UK and Europe will be required for this opportunity. Therefore, flexibility is a must!

Ideally our client needs a strong candidate from the manufacturing/automotive industries. However, transferable backgrounds will be considered.

LOCATION: Leyland, Lancashire (office-based - possibly the option to work from home once a week)

WORKING HOURS: Monday - Thursday 0800 - 1615 Friday 0800 - 1520

SALARY: £45,000 - £55,000 (subject to experience)
