Job Description

Brook Street are currently recruiting for a Communications Assistant to work for a government client based in Bristol City Centre.

Main duties include:
-Providing administrative support to the Communications team
-Co-coordinating and managing systems and processes
-Gathering research and sharing the information
-Carrying out editorial tasks
-Data entry
-Record filing and archiving
-Managing the inbox, responding to enquiries and liaising with internal and external stakeholders

Skills and experience required:
-experience of working as part of a small team, providing administrative and programme support to senior managers and busy colleagues
-highly organised, able to work with a high level of attention to detail and with the ability to prioritise and juggle multiple priorities. You will also be able to exercise effective judgement when managing conflicting tasks.
-excellent interpersonal and communication skills - both spoken and written - and the ability to communicate in a confident and engaging manner and influence individuals over whom there is no formal line-management relationship.
-You must be numerate, have good research skills and the ability to interpret complex information

This is a full time position working Monday-Friday 35 hours per week.

Rate of pay is £12.73 per hour

This is a temporary assignment for 9 weeks from start date.
