Brook Street is currently working on behalf of our Global IT Client to recruit an Internal/External Communications Manager. This is a contract role based in London for 18 months.
As a Brook Street contractor you will be entitled to 25 days holiday per annum, 8 days paid Bank Holidays pro rota, discounted gym membership, use of the onsite health facility, access to online learning and training, free parking and an excellent subsidised restaurant.
Salary: £94,900 per annum, based on experience, plus benefits

The EMEA Strategic Search Sales group empowers the largest advertisers in the region to reach their maximum potential through paid search engine marketing (SEM) on the Ads platform. We are seeking a communications professional interested in an opportunity to join a fast-paced sales culture focused on driving online advertising. The individual in this role will have a proven expertise in driving a strategy for communicating to internal audiences.
We are looking for a Communications Lead who can own and drive the communication strategy for this group and it's VP, with the objective of promoting Company's Search Advertising strategy, messaging and achievements internally. There will also be elements of creating external messaging for the VP through social and stage deliveries at events.
A typical day in this role can include:
" Developing an internal communications strategy to deliver the organisational goals.
" Yearly plan of communications from the VP of EMEA Strategic Sales
" Creating highly engaging VP and organisation communications through the use of email, social, video, in-person delivery etc.
" Shaping our approach to developing organisational culture: work very closely with VP and Sales Leads to land overall company culture framework but also facilitate the development of local identity and collaboration initiatives
" Fostering an environment where our employees feel engaged and able to interact and collaborate with each other
" Leading and co-ordinating events for the organisation: own the delivery of All-Hands, Summits, Leadership Team offsites and one-off events. Manage and work with vendors and internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality and cost-efficient events
" Working with corporate partners
The ideal candidate will be:
" BA/BS in Journalism, English or Communications (or equivalent)
" 7+ years communications, marketing or speech management experience
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
" Deep understanding of organisational communications
" Experience in working with senior leaders and executives
" Proven experience achieving successful results in a multi-country/region business
" Outstanding verbal & written communication skills
