Brook Street is seeking a Student Communications Research Intern to work with a well-known and respected employee-owned business in Alness.

This exciting internship will suit an undergraduate or postgraduate student who has a strong interest in processes and strategies.

The successful applicant will have experience in research, strong communication skills, be well organised and creative. This part-time opportunity will involve working two to three days from home as well as visiting local areas and site.

Specification - Externally
Research similar businesses, identify the issues they face in relation to language requirements, and determine best practice terms.
Research recruitment practices and offer recommendations on how best to deal with minimal language skills.
Research existing Non-UK worker groups and establish the methods that they use to transition and integrate into a new country.
Specification - Internally
Research the perceived barriers and obstacles faced by the client`s current Non-UK workforce and make recommendations on how these obstacles could be overcome.
Create a detailed immersion plan, including timescales, based on your research findings.
Assist in the creation of the client`s new Single Language Strategy using your research findings.
