Our trusted public sector client is going through a strong growth period and now require an experienced Community Services & Tackling Deprivation Manager to join their dynamic team.

As a Community Services and Tackling Deprivation Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the implementation of a range of initiatives, advising and assisting the Head of Community Planning and developing and strengthening relationships to meet business plan objectives.

Duties in this role will include;
Managing the Grant Aid programmes and budgets
Leading the delivery, promotion and review of key events
Producing reports, attending meetings and liaising with stakeholders
Contributing to the annual estimates process of expenditure and income projections
Carrying out risk assessments and performance appraisals

To be eligible for this role you will hold a degree or relevant qualification in Management, alongside three years relevant experience in a community development setting to include the following:
oManaging staff within the context of a performance management framework
oLeading project teams to deliver client services
oEngaging with key stakeholders and communities
A sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook is essential for this role.
Your role will be based in Newtonabbey, working between the hours of 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week; in return you will be paid at £15.81 per hour.
