I am currently recruiting for Complex Needs support workers who are looking for a new exciting opportunity.

The role is caring for a young child who has complex needs including brain injury, cerebral palsy, is registered blind and non-verbal. You will be required to complete personal care and activities 1:1 everyday supporting the child's mother. Other duties will include-

" Preparation of food and feeding
" Administering medication including rescue medication for Epilepsy (once medication trained)
" Transfers and hoisting
" Communication
" Implementation of therapy programmes
" Family, social and leisure activities

The company can offer fully funded training including a diploma in health and social care. You must be a car driver and have a clear enhanced DBS. The company will pay for a new DBS if you are not on the update service.

Requirements include, at least 6 months experience working with acquired brain injury.

The child's home is Shipley so it would be desirable if you live in this area or willing to travel.

The hours of work will vary, Monday to Friday the child will need support from 4pm-9pm and on weekends they will need support from 9am-9pm. There are both full and part time roles available and shifts will be on a rolling rota. In school holidays the child will need support 9am- 9pm every day.

The pay is £10.50 per hour on weekdays and £12.50 on weekends.
