Job Description

Our client is a charity that supports adults with complex needs including profound disabilities and mental health issues.

They are looking for a female support worker who is able and capable to support their service users on a 2:1 basis in the community.

This is not your standard support worker role and due to the nature of the needs of their clients you may well try to physically harm you or others.

Experience of supporting challenging needs and ideally positive behavioural support is a bonus but they will provide full intensive training to ensure you have the skills to match your drive and passion.

This role is full time and with a competitive pay rate of £11.66 per hour this is a great role for the right person who is devoted to ensuring that everyone is supported no matter the behaviours they exhibit.

Requirements:

You must be a driver and able to undergo a MIDAS course
Due to the needs of their female service users they can only take applications from females
Experience of supporting adults with severe autism and other complex needs
Knowledge of what is involved in working with such challenging behaviours
