Job Description

Are you experienced within compliance and data protection? Are you looking for a new challenge with a leading insurance company?

If so, this could be the perfect opportunity to you. Working across their Liverpool city centre office and their North Liverpool site, you will have experience in either Compliance or Data Protection and have experience of both building and maintaining relationships with both staff and stakeholders.

Benefits for this role include:

A competitive basic salary of £25,000-£30,000 which can be negotiated higher based on experience.

Free on site car parking facilities at their North Liverpool and local car parking facilities at their Liverpool city centre office.

Standard working hours ranging between 0800-1700 Mon-Fri with no weekends involved.

Your day to day duties for this role include:

Ensuring any data breaches are investigated and that any required remedial actions are taken, reporting breaches to the ICO (Initial Coin Offering) with accordance to the standard legal requirements.

Having an involvement with both bids and tenders.

Attending all board and stakeholder meetings as and when required.

Monitoring all customer compliances.

Promoting and offering first hand support with a culture of both compliance and data protection.

Reviewing all required documents and records that would be relevant to the service provision via GDPR and e-mail systems.

In order to qualify for this role, you must have the following experiences and qualifications:

Hold a data protection practitioner certification.

A GDPR Qualification

To be educated between level 3 or 4 NVQ or to have the ability to work at this level.

Experienced in providing guidance to others and data protection advice.

Experience of working in partnerships with both internal and external stakeholders.

The ability to communicate in an authoritive yet motivating/supportive manner and have leadership experience.

Experienced in a similar environment - Examples of this could be in a service or helpdesk environment or within a compliance school environment.

It would also be ideal for the right candidate to worked within an insurance or financial services industry.
