Job Description
My Client is looking for a dynamic, confident and experienced Compliance Officer to join their company on a part time permanent basis (22.5 hours a week). This position offers Hybrid working and is very flexible in regards to your working days.
Overall purpose of the role:
Standards & Compliance Coordinator's main role is to take full ownership of all compliance, audits, certifications, supporting RFPs and Tenders, GDPR/Data Protection and daily administration of the company QMS.
Regularly review of the company processes alongside each department representative to ensure the documentation is kept up to date.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting and supporting departments & staff on compliance or data related matters.
- Maintenance of compliance related documentation folders and data sheets.
- Supporting departments by collecting and coordinating process documentation updates for uniformity in structure
- Supporting in development, implementation, and maintenance of the internal audit policies.
- Coordinate with the line Manager on compliance projects, ad-hoc requests & documentation
- QMS System access administration
- Administration of support tasks to Compliance Group
- Coordinate with the line manager in compliance breaches and exposures management provisions.
- To review and respond to GDPR / Data Protection documents & customer questionnaires.
- To review and support the sales team with Information Security / Compliance / GDPR / Data Protection questionnaires.
- To review and respond to Data protection agreements, contracts, tenders, and other supplier forms.
- To work closely with Head of IT for Cyber security breaches, audits & certifications - Cyber Security Essentials, Cyber Security Essentials plus, ISO 27001.
- To be a team player, and one who believes in 'Hands-On approach'.
- Any other tasks associated that are reasonably required by the line manager.
Required Skills:
- Excellent documentation skills with good knowledge of MS Office products, SharePoint, Quality management systems.
- Excellent communication skills, able to communicate with staff and external parties at a professional level.
- Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to multi-task.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience and/or knowledge of BS, EN, ISO Standards. (ISO27001, ISO9001 etc.)
- Graduate Degree level
