Our client based in the Berkhamsted area is looking for a Concierge Team Member to join their team working in the beautiful stately home which is set in an such an idyllic setting.

You will be at the epicentre of the business and deliver the highest level of customer service to clients daily. From weddings and afternoon teas to corporate meetings and gala dinners the Reception team welcome guests 24/7. As Head Concierge, you will manage a team of concierge/reception team members who manage the concierge desk 24hrs a day, 7 days a week. The concierge team are the 'go to' for all guests - nothing is impossible for the concierge team!

Your day to day duties will include carrying out reception/concierge duties such as greeting guests (check-in and check-out), delivering and maintaining exceptional levels of customer service, assist guests withal types of requirements - restaurant reservations, booking transport, assisting with luggage etc. You will also deal with gust queries as necessary to ensure high guest satisfaction, generate system reports and preparing for future arrivals, complete an accurate handover from one shift to another, host events when required for example meet and greet guests at afternoon teas.

You will have a history of working in a 4 or 5 start hotel within a customer service role, have an outgoing personality and passion for hospitality and guest services. You will have a good eye for detail and good computer skills including Microsoft packages and also be confident and cam when taking control in emergency situations and follow procedures.

This role is a full time role working early and late shifts (typically between 07:00-23:00) including weekends. Hours will be worked averaging 40 hours per week.
