Then this could be the perfect role for you!

I am working with a client who works within the production and manufacturing field. They are looking for a Construction Engineer to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. The company is a new independent power producer primarily focused on building and operating highly flexible small-mid scale embedded peaking generation and battery storage projects in the UK. The salary per annum for this role is between £25,000-£35,000 dependant on experience plus benefits. You will assist in the delivery of the Company's development and construction objectives by providing support and resource to the delivery of specific Flexible Power Generation projects, work plans and feasibility studies within agreed cost, time and quality parameters. If you have good knowledge of the environmental permitting regime, H&S legislation & requirements and contract procurement & administration then this could be a great role for you!

Your key responsibilities will include;
-To ensure the personal and team delivery of a number of development and construction projects in accordance with agreed timescales and costs.
-To support the Construction Manager to effectively monitor, manage, control and report on capital spend for designated projects/sites on a continuous basis.
-To provide reporting and administrative support to the Construction Manager to ensure project spend is within agreed company financial model & authorisation limits
-Ensure that all projects managed are compliant with planning requirements, environmental permits and current H&S legislation, including the CDM Regulations (acting in the role as Client) but encompassing all applicable elements of legislation affecting the project.
-Monitor and review changes to health and safety, environmental and quality legislation and ensure information is disseminated to team and department as appropriate.
-Work collectively with the Construction and Operations Team to ensure the smooth handover of the project to the Operations team.
