Job Description
Brook Street are recruiting on behalf of a local government department for up to 18 contact centre operatives, to join a newly formed project team on a 1 month temporary contract.
These roles will be home based, and the required IT and phone equipment will be provided.
Duties include;
" monitoring an email inbox and responding to more complex enquiries by email / phone
" arranging telephone
" calling Head teachers to inform them of our offer and give them further information, encouraging them to sign up
" logging and monitoring email / phone enquiries
" liaising with senior colleagues to ensure they are well-informed to be able to promote take-up of the programme amongst their school / Local Authority contacts
" data entry (e.g. verifying school information / data / uploading school data to external partner systems etc.)
" desk research on schools' current interventions
The successful candidates will have;
" excellent communication skills (both oral and written)
" Strong skills in MS office (especially Excel, Word)
" Be methodical and have a keen eye for detail
" Confident, persuasive people skills
These roles are due to start asap.
These roles will be based on a 37-hour working week, Monday - Friday, 9-5. The hourly rate of pay is £14.71
