In your new role, your work will involve handling calls from the public, businesses, local authorities, emergency services and other government organisations.
A sample of the types of incidents you will be logging will include:
- Water Incidents - Alteration to a watercourse, Fish kill/disease, Flooding, Reservoir Failures, Sewage Related Incidents, Unusual Changes in River Flow, Watercourse Blockages.
- Pollution Incidents - Radioactive Incidents, Watercourse Pollution, Beach Pollution, Oil and Chemical Spills, Self-Reported Incidents, Nuclear Incidents.
- Waste Incidents - Commercial Burning of waste, Fly Tipping, Illegal Waste Sites, Incidents at Waste Sites, Odour and Noise, Permit Breaches, Waste Carrier Incidents.
- Wildlife Incidents - Damage to protected habitats, Dead Animals, Illegal Cockling, Illegal Fishing and Poaching.
