Contact Manager

Are you experienced and knowledgeable in the Travel sector? Our Client is looking for a Contact Manager based in the Thurrock county. The Travel and Cruise sector is expanding, very busy and it require a strong commercial awareness and organised approach.

The contact manager will be working very closely to within a team and work alone, handling all matters relating to Shore Excursions worldwide and German Cruise line.

Duties include:
" You will be the main point of contact and liaison appointed to an excursion team. This will require preparing ship cruise planners by deadline, across check documents, update inventory check of stationary stocks on board and support with any last-minute change on itinerary.
" Update sales YTD, budgets and incoming invoices and update ports cost on file.
" Offer a good level of customer service, review and monitor guest reviews, complaints and queries.
" Looking for opportunity maximise revenue and profitability, support the team with planning and implementing new ideas, assisting with ship staff rotations, to ensure ship staff are on point with sales and promotions awareness, across check & proof read the programme/ cost/ itinerary etc.

Ideally candidate would have experience within the cruise or travel industry, knowledge of destinations/ places of historical/ cultural interest, good research skills, attention to details and good Microsoft skills.

Working hours- 9am to 5.30pm, 22days holiday plus Bank Holidays, Pension, Free onsite car parking, discounted holidays, excellent training opportunity with a chance to cruise and working in a stylish & newly refurbished office. Great salary package of £26k.
