Job Description

The CI Facilitator will work alongside the CI Manager and be part of the team to drive the Operational Excellence culture / thinking throughout the organisation.
As a subject matter expert and ambassador of CI, TPM and other Operational Excellence methodologies it would be your tole to model, support and train your colleagues and help them understand and adopt these methodologies. To facilitate, coach and support the delivery of Operational Excellence to optimism value creation, always demonstrating the business of values and behaviours.

You would be key in supporting the Site Continuous Improvement Manager in the roll out of Lean thinking and tools. In addition, you would own the day to day monitoring and follow up to ensure that Operational Excellences goals and plans are on target

Responsibilities for this role include: -

Be the OE Ambassador, coach and conscience for the site
Contribute to and deliver group Operational Excellence training
Use Lean/Six Sigma green belt methodology to understand and improve processes
Demonstrate excellent role modelling, coaching and supporting the company`s tiered Accountability performance management system
Maintain and support the development of our Operational Excellence goals and objectives
Coach and train associates in Zero Loss mindset and CI methodologies
Perform process verification on teams` performance against Operational Excellence methodologies and standards (Terms of Reference)
Support local teams with improvement projects
Identify, prioritise, lead and support Kaizens and Small Group Activities
Collect and contribute to best practise
Participate in on-boarding and training of newly hired associates
Demonstrate excellent role modelling, coaching and supporting of tiered accountability performance management system
Select and deploy effectively CI/TPM based tools and philosophies to include SMED, 5S, Autonomous Maintenance, standard work deployment, Root Cause Analysis, A3 Problem Solving

Desired Skills

A CI Facilitator is continually required to demonstrate poise, tact and diplomacy
You need to be a dedicated team player to work across multiple teams and disciplines
Must be an excellent communicator, both written and spoken English
To be an engaging trainer/presenter
Experienced user of MS Office applications
Educated to degree level preferably but credit will be provided for on the job experience
Experience in the FMCG sector of Manufacturing is preferred but not essential
Occasional shift-work will be required in order to support all teams on site
You must be able and prepared to travel to other sites to support or for training purposes
Strong data analysis capabilities, with intermediate to advanced excel level skills
Deploy, coach and leverage data driven problem solving
