Job Description

My client is the worldwide market leader in developing and delivering state of the art production, modelling and optimisation software and technical support to the oil and gas industry. My client is looking for a motivated individual to join their Contracts & Licensing Department in their Edinburgh office. As part of the team you will work closely with your colleagues to ensure the provision of an efficient and quality contractual service to our clients in 90 countries around the world.

This is very much a hands-on position where you will learn by doing the job rather than following a formal training programme.


" Experience dealing with contracts and licensing
" Preparation of price quotations for the purchase/rental/maintenance of software for new and existing customers
" Preparation of more complex tender/bid documentation
" Issue sales invoices
" Preparation of license agreements and agenda
" Distribution of product and associated shipping documentation
" Assisting clients with download and security device problems
" Providing ad hoc assistance and support to clients and colleagues to achieve the goals of the Company
Other ad-hoc duties:
" Answer incoming calls in polite manner, assess and transfer as appropriate
" Process outgoing mail & courier dispatches
" Booking worldwide travel

Qualifications/Skills required

To succeed you will need to demonstrate:

" University/College degree
" Good Highers in both Maths and English
" A good knowledge of both Excel & Word
" Excellent communication skills
" Attention to detail
" A willingness to help clients and colleagues to achieve the goals of the company
" An enquiring mind
