Job Description

My Public Sector Client based in both Birmingham City Centre and Solihull, is looking for a Contract Support Officer to work within their Asset Management Team. This is a temporary ongoing role, Monday to Friday 9.00 to 5.30pm, 37.00 hours a week.

The role will require you to undertake contract support activities such as uploading contracts, raising purchase orders, processing payment requests and investigating anomalies to ensure payments are made to suppliers within agreed timeframes.

You will work closely with the Project Managers and also Commercial Service Managers day to day, so you must have strong communications skills to deal with both these internal and external stakeholders.

It would be an advantage but not essential if you had a PRINCE2, Management or Project based qualification.

Through this role you would also be required to problem solve/analyse data and also work with numbers and reports, so good numeracy skills, and excel knowledge and experience would be beneficial.

A DBS and full referencing will be required for this role, your DBS will be refunded after 4 working weeks in assignment. This role is paying £12.08 per hour.
