Job Description
We are recruiting for a fantastic company within the public sector based in North West London who are looking for a Corporate Communications Manager to join them on a full-time permanent basis.
PLEASE NOTE: To be successful in this role you must have been working in the UK for the last 5 years consecutively and have not been overseas for more than 6 months during this time.
Salary: £35,059 including London living allowance

Responsibilities:
- Promote the company positively through traditional, social media and digital media and use effectively to target and engage with audiences
- Producing publications and writing for an internal audience
- Develop contacts and relationships with key stakeholders, influencers and external bodies
- Act as a specialist senior advisor on all aspects of media relations (traditional, social and digital)
- Be responsible for developing and delivering proactive communications campaigns, and the regional roll-out of nationally led campaigns, to ensure the reputation of the company in the region and Force is maintained and enhanced amongst passengers and the industry
- Work with colleagues to identify and implement innovative communication projects and initiatives that raise company profile through social and digital media
Requirements:
- Must have media relations expertise, evidence of working with stakeholders and social media savvy in a works context
- Background as a corporate communications professional in a large organisation underpinned by performance
- Flexible and willing to work outside normal office hours and travel throughout the country in the event of an incident, or in support of senior officers during operations and events
- Educated to degree level in English, Politics, History, Media, Marketing, Communications or similar professional qualification
- Able to use Video production, InDesign and Photoshop
- Understand media law and legal constraints and in relation to the release of information to the media
- Knowledge of building and maintaining excellent working relationships with the media and other stakeholders
- Considerable expertise in crisis communications management and media relations during major or critical incidents
