Job Description

My client who are based in Dagenham are looking for a Forklift driver to assist them in an ongoing temporary booking.

The Role and Responsibilities:
" Reporting to the Depot Manager.
" Ensure pallets and consumables are loaded to the warehouse bagged cement packing machine.
" Offload vehicles, account and put away as required.
" Ensure picking tasks are completed accurately
" Receive vehicles at the Warehouse,
" Liaise with the Admin supervisor on warehouse issues
" Your job title does not limit your duties and the company may require you to carry out any such duties which it considers to be within your capabilities with appropriate training.

"The successful candidate will have a proven track record of working within a warehousing environment.
"A valid counter balance FLT licence is essential (accepted RTITB and ITSSAR accreditation, tested within the last three years).
"Reporting to the Depot Manager you will ensure that the operation meets the customer service requirements by completing each function to the highest standards.
"To handle all aspects of goods receipt, unloading vehicles, handling documentation and entering information.
"To check documentation and physically check loads before departure.
"To carry out general housekeeping and stocktaking to ensure that the profile of the site is maintained to the very highest standard.
"To be responsible for Health and Safety of themselves and the other team members by adhering to safe working practices.

This job is based on a 3 shift basis (Early, Days, Lates) - There may be weekend shifts if required.

Shifts:
Early: 5.30 - 13.30
Day: 8.00 - 16.00
Late: 13.30 - 21.30
Night: 21.30 - 5.50
