Job Description

Our Public Sector client based in Norwich is seeking a Court Clerk to join their team on a full-time, temporary basis. The rate of pay is £10.21 an hour, rising to £10.97 an hour in 12 weeks period. Holiday entitlement and pension scheme available.

This job involves face to face contact with members of the public who are sometimes anxious, distressed or troubled during their court visits.

Main duties will be to run the cases in the court room each day and deal with any administration following the hearings within the legislative timelines.


The ideal candidate must be confident enough to stand up and speak in court and hold difficult conversations with barristers and judges.

Good customer service and communication skills are vital with experience in administration. Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook is advantageous.

You will need to be able to provide your Right to Work, 2 proof of address and proof of National Insurance in order to go forward for this role.
