Job Description

Brook Street are currently working with a client who are seeking 2x Court Marshals for a role to start ASAP on a temporary on-going basis. The location of the client is based in Leamington Spa.

Purpose

The role of a Marshall will be to provide support and guidance to help visitors navigate and move around the court houses/hearing centre's safely and in a time efficient way. Marshalls will be pivotal to the smooth running of our services

Key Accountabilities:

Supporting visitors flow in and out of the courthouse/hearing centre's

· Guiding visitors through new one-way system safely and efficiently

· Encouraging visitors to adhere to social distancing guidance as necessary

· Providing clear and concise verbal instructions to people moving through the courthouse/hearing centre's

· Reassuring visitors and answering any queries, or signposting them to the necessary area or member of court staff as required

· Supporting and supervising those visitors in the waiting areas

Other duties:

The post holder is required to work in a flexible way and undertake any other duties reasonably requested by line management which are commensurate with the grade and level of responsibility of this post

Experience / skills required:

Flexibility and resilience to changes in court schedules
Excellent team working skills
Ability to use initiative in situations

Strong communication and people skills
Strong problem solving skills
Ability to deal with people in difficult situations
Calmness under pressure
A clear speaking voice
IT Literate
Be able to work in a pressurised environment
Be able to provide 3 years of referencing without any gaps.
