Job Description

Brook Street is seeking a Court Usher to join a Government client based in Bristol Crown Courts. This is an exciting opportunity to step foot into the Public Sector and get a feel for how courts and tribunals operate.

This is a temporary role is for 12 weeks which could be extended, paying £7.83 an hour rising to £8.16 after 12 weeks.

This role will include booking and welcoming all customers in upon arrival, showing them into the court room, liaising with the appropriate lawyers and judges if needed. You will also be able to sit in on the cases whilst they take place. For this side of the role you will need to be confident and have a good level of customer service. You will also be required to carry out ad hoc admin tasks.
