Job Description

Our public sector client are looking for a temporary worker to join their team as a court usher. This is initially a temporary role until 31/03/22, with the chance of an extension. This is a full time role, 37 hours a week, Monday - Friday. Hours of work will be shifts between the hours of 8am - 6pm. The pay rate for this role will start at £8.91 (£8.36 for under 23's), increasing to £9.94 after 12 weeks.

You will be helping with a smooth running of the courts and to progress cases. Your day to day duties will include:
- Communicating with Judges,
- Admin tasks associated with ushering duties,
- communicating with court users via telephone, email and face to face
- Meeting and greeting
- Giving directions

The ideal candidate will have customer service experience as you will be dealing with a wide range of people, some of these may be vulnerable or distressed.
