Job Description

Our public sector client is looking for a temporary worker to join their team as a court usher. This is initially a temporary role until 30/09/22 with the chance of an extension. This is a full time role, Monday - Friday, 37 hours per week. You will work around the hours of 9am - 5pm. The pay rate for this role is £9.94 per hour.

You will be responsible for making sure there is a smooth running in the courts. A big part of this role will be face to face interaction with the public. You will be communicating with a wide variety of people, some of which may be distressed or display inappropriate behaviour so a high level of customer service is required.

Your day to day duties will include:
- Meeting and greeting court users
- Giving directions to court/hearing rooms
- Setting up the court rooms
- Communicating with judges and magistrates
- Data entry
- Filing

The ideal candidate Will have at least 12 months of customer service experience.
