Job Description

My Government client is looking to recruit a Court Usher based in Manchester City Centre.

The role is Monday - Friday, no weekend work required. However, you must be available from 9am up until 6pm for when there are late court hearings.

The client is looking for candidates from a strong customer service background, as you will be liaising with all parties such as judges, victims, legal representatives, jury etc. Therefore, the ability to confidently liaise with a variety of people is paramount.

This role in particular involves checking in all legal parties, liaising and working quite closely with the court clerk, ensuring the court runs smoothly that day and setting up the court room prior and post hearings.

This role is very active and you will be on your feet for most of the day.

As this is a Government role, you will need to undergo our compliance process, an enhanced criminal record check and we will need to obtain 3 year's employment/education references.
