Registered Manager - Learning Disabilities
Location: Stechford & Castle Bromwich, Birmingham
Salary: £41,510 per annum
Contract: 3-Month Fixed-Term Contract (Potential to Become Permanent)
Hours: 37 Hours per Week | Monday-Friday | 9:00am-5:00pm
We are recruiting for an experienced Registered Manager to oversee two established Learning Disability residential services supporting adults with complex needs in Stechford and Castle Bromwich.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established provider and lead two small services supporting a total of 8 residents, while managing a dedicated team of approximately 28 staff.
As Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operational management of both services, ensuring high standards of person-centred care, regulatory compliance and continuous service improvement. You will provide strong leadership to your teams, oversee recruitment, supervision and staff development, manage budgets, maintain excellent relationships with Local Authorities and healthcare professionals, and ensure the services consistently meet CQC standards.
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a Registered Manager
- Previous experience supporting adults with Learning Disabilities
- NVQ Level 5 in Leadership & Management (or equivalent)
- Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and safeguarding
- Experience managing and developing staff teams
- Budget management experience
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Enhanced DBS (within the last 3 years accepted)
