Job Description

Creative Project Manager
Salary: £260 per day / £32.50 per hour
Location: Hybrid working, and offices based in Canary Wharf, London
Hours: Monday-Friday - 9am-5pm (40 hours)

My client is a well-established, global financial services organisation based in Canary Wharf, and they are looking for a Creative Project Manager to join them on a full time, contract until December 2022. The successful applicant will be working as part of their Creative Project Management Team which sits within the Content Studio function of Corporate Affairs & Marketing.

This will be hybrid work, but you will be required to go into the office at least twice a month and eventually this may increase to a couple of days a week, so you must be comfortable travelling into the office.


Responsibilities of Creative Project Manager:

  • Manage production and delivery of creative content and marketing collateral requests
  • Work with the in-house creative team and agency partners, and monitor projects through the different stages of the creative process including, briefing, planning, concept, design, production and delivery
  • Deliver programme, campaign, multi-tactic and channel specific content projects for the Corporate Affairs & Marketing organisation
  • Employ exceptional project management skills to ensure marketing materials meet stakeholder objectives and are delivered on time, on brief, on budget and on brand
  • Facilitate all projects having clearly defined briefs, objectives, messages and success metrics (KPIs)
  • Ensure all content requests are accurately opened, briefed, categorised and captured in their project management workflow system (Workfront)
  • Act as the connection point between stakeholders and their internal design team to ensure effective resource scheduling, communication and clarity in the design and delivery of content
  • Record and process third party content production costs in Workfront, in coordination with the operations team to ensure suppliers are paid on time

What we are looking for:

  • 3 years+ in a similar or related role
  • Industry experience in financial markets
  • Proven experience in delivering excellence in project coordination through the ability to interpret and manage multiple projects, while meeting challenging deadlines
  • Sound understanding of the creative/design process and tools
  • Experience of working with project management tools (Workfront or similar)
  • Effective and confident communicator, across different levels
  • Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills, written & oral expression
  • Confident problem solver and decision maker
  • Able to manage and prioritise multiple projects and stakeholder expectations, while making fast, effective decisions to meet tight deadlines
  • Experience working within a fast paced, complex businesses is ideal
