Brook Street Edinburgh are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Credit Controller on an initial 3-month Fixed Term Contract basis.
This position has the potential to turn permanent depending on how successful you are in the role and the business needs at that time.
As a Credit Controller, you will be chasing new and aged debt and invoices whilst updating and maintaining the ledger as you go. Communicating with clients via telephone, email and post, agreeing payment plans that suit the needs of your customers and your own business.
Due to the affect that Covid-19 has had on business for many companies, this is a time where although your main responsibility is to confirm payment, the role now more than ever entails a certain level of empathy when dealing with clients.
You will have a can-do attitude with high resilience and a persuasive nature with the ability to remain calm and explain in clear detail to customers what it is that you ate trying to achieve.
