Job Description

We are currently seeking passionate and experienced Crisis recovery worker to join a Mental Health Residential service based in Cumbria,

You will be working for an excellent provider in mental health rehabilitation and recovery specialising in supporting people with high and complex needs, they work with people with mental health, substance misuse and other complex needs to achieve their ambitions and potential. Joining the group at a very exciting time of growth and expansion, which could lead to future progression and development opportunities.

Day-to-day, you`ll support individuals to develop emotional management and personal life skills to achieve greater independence and self-esteem. You will support individuals to develop coping mechanisms and tools to better manage their mental health. And, when it comes to liaising with statutory and voluntary agencies to give people access to a full range of services and support, again, rely on your expertise.

The ideal candidate will be great listener, with a flexible approach and a flair for planning and prioritising a busy workload, you love motivating and engaging people in a range of rehabilitative activities. What`s more, you will have a good understanding of mental health issues and how they affect people.

The successful candidate will hold a Level 2 Health and Social care or willing to work towards this and relevant Mental Health experience, be adaptable and resilient but again not essential as long as you have good values and willing to learn.

This is a Permanent position for 20 or 30 Hours a week over 3 to 4 days for 3 long night shifts with a starting salary of £9.90ph with exciting training, progression and career development.

Plus £750 Boat payment a Year
