This role requires no cold calling or hard hitting sales all you wil be doing is upselling and cross selling.

The Role -
Maximise Finance and Insurance policy sales by utilising your sales skills when handling telephone enquiries and updating systems accordingly.
35 hours per week, (8 - 6 Monday to Friday) and (9 - 1 Saturday). Due to the nature of this position, hours may vary in line with business and client needs.
Provide a professional, efficient and proactive sale and administration service, reflecting the brand values of the client and the client you are representing.
Ensure all processes and procedures comply with FCA requirements.
o Handle all calls within performance targets and professionally following approved call scripts and sales guidance materials
o Handle customer objections in a positive manner and actively attempt to overcome these objections in line with sales guidance materials
o Actively attempt to build rapport with all callers
o Actively look for opportunities to upgrade levels of cover through effective listening and identification of customer needs
o Carry out outbound sales activity ensuring all regulatory and customers service standards and requirements are adhered to where appropriate
o Display appropriate levels of patience and empathy as and when required
o Handle complaints in a positive way, in line with company procedures
o Communicate with customers and third parties in a clear, concise and professional way
o To capture all requested data and provide information to the caller
o Ensure product knowledge is kept continuously up-to-date through appropriate research and training
o Respond to incoming correspondence in accordance with agreed procedures
o Carry out administrative tasks as required within the department
Data capture & input
o Ensure that all relevant data is entered onto the system in a timely way, with a focus on accuracy
o Operate within and adhere to the constraints of the current FCA regulations
o Ensure that the sales process carried out follows the procedure based sales approach
Accurate data capture and Reporting
o Capture all necessary information precisely and accurately relevant to product sales
o Record all daily activity for reporting purposes
o To undertake other ad hoc duties as reasonably requested by your manager
Essential Skills & Attributes
o Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent, including English Language and Maths
o Excellent telephone manner
o Previous experience of working within a telephone sales environment, handling both inbound and outbound calls
o A good working knowledge of Word, Excel and web based functionality
o Strong communication skills

Desirable Skills & Attributes
o Previous experience of working within a warranty department
o Basic knowledge and understanding of FSA compliance
o Basic knowledge of vehicle technology
