Customer Account Opener - up to £20,000

JOB DESCRIPTION
I am recruiting a Customer Account Opener for a leading global company that specialises in foreign exchange. Based just outside Coventry City Centre, you will join a dynamic and growing business that offers excellent benefits and long term career prospects.

JOB ROLE
As a Customer Account Opener you will be responsible for following up on warm leads to customers, offering them the best product and service that is available. In many cases you will be the customers very first point of contact, providing a slick onboarding service giving customers the ability to transact with the company quickly. You will ensure that customers have a positive experience in all interaction throughout the opening of their account.

My client is an award-winning foreign exchange specialist that has offices on a global basis; year-on-year they have gone from strength to strength and are continuously growing. They offer in-depth knowledge and training into foreign exchange with real career development.

TYPICAL DAILY JOB DUTIES - WHAT WILL YOU BE RESPONSIBLE FOR?
The first point of contact for customers looking to open an account
Ensuring all customer communications are logged appropriately and referred to other business units where required
Taking personal ownership over the customer experience
Ensuring customers receive great service and leave satisfied
Using appropriate questioning and negotiating skills to understand customer requirements, and meet expectations
Establishing and maintaining prospective client portfolios until a trading facility has been established
Proactively upselling the portfolio products
Ensuring all original documentation received is recorded, scanned and archived
Reviewing the client database, to uncover missed or reactivation opportunities

PERSON SPECIFICATION
Experience in a telephone-based sales environment
Customer service experience within a multichannel environment (e.g. telephone, email, face-to-face)

DESIRABLE
Experience or knowledge of working within a financial services environment

HOURS OF WORK
07:30am to 4:30pm or 08:30am to 5:30pm or 11:00am to 8:00pm or 12:00noon to 9:00pm Monday to Friday

NEXT STAGE
An opening evening is being held on Tuesday 11th December* between 5:00pm - 8:00pm. This is a great opportunity to have an introduction to the company where you will be able to see them first hand! It will be your chance to speak with current employees so you can really understand what it will be like working there. After this there will be a personality and maths test, once completed you will be invited in for a formal face-to-face interview to discuss your skills and experience in more detail.
