Job Description

Our Public Sector client is currently looking for two Customer Advisors to work within their team. This will be Monday to Friday, usually 9.00am to 5.30pm however the successful candidate must have a degree of flexibility in line with the needs of the business. This will an ongoing temporary assignment, paying £10.14 per hour. The role is working on site and will be based in Stafford.

Your role will be the first point of call to deal with collections for this client. Communication is key within this role and also customer service skills are essential. You will be required to work with invoices and establish whether they are outstanding or if they have been written off, checking the system for any historic correspondence. You will need to speak with customers by telephone/email to establish why invoices may not have been paid and try to resolve this with the team.

You will need to produce correspondence in response to the queries where necessary, adding details to the system, and ensuring all internal trackers are updated. You will also have to manage and deal with small claims court online system. Additional support will be in place with the Team Leads where necessary.
