Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Customer Care Advisor for our client based in Derby.

Roles/Responsibilities

  • Around 75% of your day will be spent talking to fantastic customers, communicating via phone and email as well as liaising with other branches to offer support any issues our customers present
  • The remaining 25% of your time will be taken up managing your own workload to ensure our customers are kept updated throughout the resolution process
  • Whilst they want you to be confident to make decisions that are both in the best interests of the client's customers and the business, they understand that you might not have all the answers. Other teams act as a support network for each other and whilst you do have Team Leaders and Supervisors on hand for those stickier situations, you will often find that your supportive team members will be on hand to share the wealth of knowledge they have gathered over the years
  • Whilst a portion of the role involves handling inbound customer contact, they want to make it very clear that they are not your traditional "Call Centre", they strive to create a homely environment that allows you to feel comfortable and content
  • They have an open-door policy and love to see their teams mingling with each other during break and lunchtimes. Their employees often tell them the culture they have created has allowed them to feel more confident personally as was seen in the recent Employee Satisfaction surveys
  • They are a hardworking, tenacious group and they want to ensure you feel rewarded for that. They have incentives, mini competitions and even the odd quiz (occasionally of the pub variety!) to make sure you feel engaged and happy at work

Person specification

  • Customer service experience
  • Strong objection handling skills
  • Proven ability to handle, balance and meet the expectation of their customers as well as the business
  • They will provide you with all the training you need to make sure you are successful in the role, so it doesn't matter what industry you have come from as long as you have that customer service experience and the want to deliver a great customer experience

Salary/Working hours

  • Salary: £23,700 (COMBINE AS OTE)
  • 5 hours over 5 days
  • Rotating shifts (Monday - Sunday)
  • Permanent role
