You will work for an insurance company who works with reputable clients such as Direct Line, British Gas plus more. Due to continued growth you will be joining the expanding department which deal with British Gas customers who would like to make a claim on their white goods.
You will be liaising with claimants, insurers and suppliers to ensure complete customer satisfaction. You will do this by primarily taking inbound calls however you may be required to make some outbound calls and respond to emails as an when. Therefore a fantastic telephone manner and computer literacy are essential. No specific insurance experience is needed to be considered for this role.
We`re looking for candidates with great Customer Service skills gained from either a telephone or face to face environment.
You will take a short maths test, typing test to see what level you`re at - not to catch you out (and don`t worry, you can bring your calculator). You will then take part in a 30 minute face to face interview and know whether you`ve been successful in landing your new career within 24-48 hours!
The minimum requirements to be considered for this role are:
2 years customer service experience.
No more than 4 jobs in the last 3 years (With ALL gaps explained).
Good typing speed and accuracy
Great telephone manner
You will start on £15600 and be given an opportunity to gain a salary increase after 6 months service. Then following another 6 months service another pay rise could follow. From there every 12 months with the company you will have further appraisals as well as other opportunities to progress onto other departments. The current General Manager started off in this role - they generally recruit for entry level roles and progress from within so you can rest assured you`ll be looked after.
