Job Description

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a developing company on the outskirts of York. We are looking for experienced customer service professionals who can work to targets and provide exceptional service to their customers.

ACCESS TO A CAR IS ESSENTIAL DUE TO LOCATION.

No two days will ever be the same in this role, it is diverse, full of opportunities to grow personally and professionally and rewarding.

Monday - Friday working and you will be required to work one Saturday in three and one Sunday in approximately seven, so flexibility is a must. The job would suit someone who has had strong customer service experience.

If you have previous customer service experience and are confident when talking to customers from a wide demographic, we are keen to meet you.

Working predominately on the telephone, you will have a proven track record in consistently delivering targets in a dynamic and changing work environment. You'll have an excellent telephone manner and strong communication skills, but most importantly; strive to deliver a great customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Acquiring new members and retaining existing members through inbound and outbound call activity.
Competently providing quotations, answer queries regarding websites and products and administering existing policies.
Targeting potential members who have already started an application.
Issue policy documentation packages and pertinent correspondence including relevant inserts.
Answer Customer Contact Department telephone calls in line with the departmental SLA.
Working on admin and emails received from potential and existing members.

A full induction programme and on-going training will provide you with an intimate knowledge and understanding of the company products.
