Job Description

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a developing company in York. We are looking for experienced customer service professionals who can work to targets and provide exceptional service to their customers.

No two days will ever be the same in this role, it is diverse, full of opportunities to grow personally and professionally and extremely rewarding!

If you have previous sales, telesales or direct sales experience and are confident when talking to customers from a wide demographic, we are keen to meet you. Working predominately on the telephone, you will have a proven track record in consistently delivering targets in a dynamic and changing work environment. You'll have an excellent telephone manner and strong communication skills, but most importantly; strive to deliver a great customer experience.

Acquiring new members and retaining existing members through inbound and outbound call activity
Targeting potential members who have already started an application
Retain members who want to cancel their membership by explaining the benefits of our products and services
Contacting existing members who have cancelled or stopped payments to up sell the benefits of retaining membership
Working on admin and emails received from potential and existing members

Self-motivated, professional and resilient at all times
Excellent telephone manner and ability to think on your feet
Enthusiastic, dynamic and positive attitude
Strong negotiation influencing skills

A full induction programme and on-going training will provide you with an intimate knowledge and understanding of the company products. There is a requirement to attend 4 week's full-time training Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm, starting on 18th January 2021. You must be available for the whole training period and have no annual leave during this time.

In return you will receive a salary of 19,500 plus bonus, free membership, free onsite parking, up to 35 days' holiday including bank holiday and no current weekend working, pension with up to 10% employer contributions, excellent training and development, cycle to work scheme, employee engagement events, supporting local charities, opportunities to give back to our community through volunteering, mental Health First Aiders and a free onsite gym.
