Job Description

Do you enjoy interacting with people and pride yourself in delivering a top quality customer service?

Currently seeking to employ a Customer Host to work on a 16-hour contract, hours are 9-3pm daily.



My client is a Automotive business based close to Inverness. They are an established family business with a very good reputation in their business sector.

The role:
Welcome customers to the business, acting as the first point of contact
Build rapport with face to face customers, gather accurate information to ensure their requirements are met before you introduce them to the right member of the team.
Answer all incoming telephone calls, dealing with the enquiries professionally and manage the customers experience
Respond to all email enquiries, ensuring the customer is dealt with in a prompt manner and managed until they have the information/assistance required
Liaise and interact with other departments, maintain a good knowledge of what is happening each day to assist customers when they arrive
Maintain an awareness of vehicles for sale on site and the key features of the different dealership brands
Ensure the reception area is welcoming and presentable
Be responsible for the shop stock ordering and stock control, manage stock ordering for general customers
Proactively seek feedback and customer reviews
work closely with other departments, providing assistance where needed to enable the small team to function well
Provide admin support to the sales team, which may involve a variety of tasks such as DVLA paperwork applications, tele-sales and website updates
Proactively identify ways to improve the customer experience when they visit the business
Remain calm under pressure, reacting well to change and staying positive despite setbacks
Take pride in the quality of your work

Your skill-set should include: Experience of customer service, (advantageous if you have a sales background), first class administration and IT skills, a good eye for figures, excellent listening and verbal communication, strong organisation skills, understanding of general business acumen, a full and valid UK driving license.
