Job Description

Brook Street are currently recruiting on behalf of our client based in central Derby for a Customer Operations Advisor to join their finance team and contribute to the excellent service they provide. If you have experience in a customer focused role and thrive of creating a great customer experience, then this role is for you!

Role - Customer Operations Advisor
Pay - £9.50 per hour
Hours - 37.5 hours per week (5 out of 7 days 9am-5pm, including weekends)
Duration - 6 months initial contract
Location - Office based in central Derby

This role will involve working both Saturdays and Sundays each week, Availability to work these hours are essential to be successful in this position. This role will also involve occasional later working hours of 11am-7pm on a rota basis.

This exciting new position will be working within this large company's finance department, assisting with customer payments and responding to any queries raised by the customers. The role will involve meeting deadlines so an organised approach to your work is an essential quality for successful candidates.

Candidate requirements -
- Flexibility with hours and available to work each weekend.
- Friendly manner with customers and able to show empathy towards customer queries.
- Previous experience in a customer focused role.
- Comfortable with all aspects of MS Office.
- Administration experience is desirable but not essential to the role.
- Attention to detail ensuring a high level of accuracy in all aspects of the role.

Role responsibilities -
- Checking the accuracy of customer card payments.
- Action refunds to customers in a timely manner.
- Verification of bank details.
- Meeting end of month deadlines consistently.
- Other ad hoc duties to support the wider team as necessary.
