Job Description

My client sources responsibly and ethically manufactured products from napkins, to paper cups to food packaging, from across the UK and overseas. Providing an excellent customer experience from the point of ordering, to the delivery of the items directly to the customer.

THE ROLE

I am currently advertising for a Customer Sales Advisor vacancy within a contact centre in Tamworth. It is a Sales and Service role and I'm looking for people who have got the drive and determination to offer amazing service every day. You should demonstrate the ability to truly connect with customers and offer best in class service in a multi-channel contact centre and have the desire to go the extra mile and consistently delight customers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES

Sales

  • Make daily calls in accordance with the call diary to generate repeat orders, ensuring all orders are captured, and opportunities are taken to maximise sales and margin
  • Receive inbound sales orders and enquiries from National Account customers, maximising all profit opportunities
  • Grow and develop accounts within defined portfolio against targets, working with National Account Managers to achieve maximum potential
  • Participate fully in monthly sales activity designed to increase revenue, paying attention to Average Order Value budge targets
  • Demonstrate thorough knowledge and understanding of Believe Achieve sales training, delivering sales through exceptional service always
  • Carry out scheduled administration tasks in line with daily reporting

Customer Service

  • Contribute towards call centre KPIs, making oneself available to answer an equal share of call centre calls daily
  • Deal with all customer queries/ requests for product and service information promptly, efficiently and courteously, ensuring appropriate follow-up is completed where required
  • Resolve all customer concerns in a timely manner, liaising with the appropriate internal key stakeholders to delight the customer
  • Manage out of stock items by communicating with purchasing and advising customer accordingly
  • Maintain effective communications and good working relationships with all internal and external teams, particularly National Account Managers, Operations, Stock Control and Credit Control to ensure maximum customer service levels are achieved

PERSON SPECIFICATION

  • 5 GCSEs at Grade C or above, including Mathematics and English
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • A minimum of 12 months experience working within a customer service or sales environment is ideal
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills

SALARY AND WORKING HOURS

Monday - Friday

37.5 hours per week

8 hour shifts with 30 mins lunch

Shifts are on a rota, please see below:

8.00 - 4.00pm, 8.30am - 4.30pm, 9.00am - 5.00pm

Salary is £19,500 per annum
