Job Description

Brook Street are delighted to be working with a long-standing organisation based in the city centre of Peterborough to recruit a "Customer Service Agent" on a temporary basis for 8 weeks - potentially leading to a full-time permanent position with the business.

The company are very flexible in terms of which hours you would like to work, but we need someone who is willing to work around 10 hours per week over the course of Monday-Friday 9am-5pm - which could be a few mornings/afternoons per week or simply 2 hours per day during the week.

Hourly Salary: £9.50-£10.00 per hour

Your Role:

  • You will be supporting the team on their renewal desk calling through to existing clients to let them know their policies are coming up to their annual renewal and have discussions with them to renew their policies.
  • You will not be "Cold Calling" as these are existing clients and are expecting this phone call from you.
  • You will be required to perform a few administration duties; such as; scanning and printing.
  • This position would suit someone who has a great telephone manner, a pro-active approach, a positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to learn and help others.
