Job Description

I am recruiting for a Customer Service Advisor based in Solihull town centre, working for one of the major 6 oil and gas companies. This is an exciting opportunity to work for a company that ensures their staff are well trained and looked after. They are offering a rate of £8.78 per hour, this role is unusually lengthy for a temporary role as it will be on-going for 6 months with a real potential of this going permanent.

THE ROLE
You will be part of a helpful and friendly team. This is a varied and busy customer facing phone/email based customer service position where you will be helping support the Contact centre who deal with all sorts of queries from customers. You will be helping answer general queries, dealing with complaints, financially advising domestic customers and other ad-hoc duties.


TYPICAL DAILY JOB DUTIES - WHAT WILL YOU BE RESPONSIBLE FOR?
- Communicating with customers via phone and email
- Processing payments for domestic customers with credit issues
- Answering queries from domestic customers with low credit ratings
- Dealing with an average of 300 calls per day
- Providing an exceptional level of Customer Service


PERSON SPECIFICATION
- Previous customer service and office based administration experience is essential
- Confident and excellent telephone manner
- Strong customer service/communication skills
- A solid understanding of Microsoft Office packages including Outlook, Excel, and Word
- Highly organised with the ability to multitask and prioritise
- Previous contact centre experience
- Punctual, reliable and experience of working well within a team
- Needs to have a positive attitude when dealing with complaints

- 37 hour working week - shifts vary between the contact centre opening hours (8am-8pm mon-sat)
