Job Description
Role - Customer Service Administrator
Maternity Contract
Start Date - Asap
End Date - September 2022 with the potential to be extended
Location - St Leonards On Sea/Hastings
Hours - Monday to Thursday 9am till 5pm, Friday 9am till 4pm
Pay - £9.00 - £10.00 per hour depending on experience
An opportunity has arisen to work within a friendly, buzzing office, full on the job training is given and the chance to work within a loyal and extremely welcoming office.
We are looking for a strong, pro active and motivated team player who is confident using MS office packages as well as be numerate (ideally to a C/4 grade)
You will be responsible for answering incoming calls from trade customers, processing orders, dealing with enquiries via phone/email and fax, preparing quotations, minimising order errors and general office administration.
Duties will include
-Receiving and processing of orders via phone, fax and email.
-Progressing of customer orders upon request.
-Answering of telephone and dealing with enquiries, problems, sales leads and the reporting of customer complaints for both Trade and Retail.
-Minimise order errors, reprints, returns and credits.
-Inform customers of out of stocks and advise of any alternatives or new due dates.
-Office back up to the Area Sales Executives in the way of quotations and letters etc.
-Provide assistance to the Customer Service Manager as and when required.
-Advise customers of delivery truck days to enhance orders - truck days during summer.
-Carry out any other duties as and when required to facilitate the effective operation of the company as directed by the Customer Services Manager.
