Job Description

I am recruiting for a Customer Service Advisor based in Solihull town centre, working for one of the major 6 oil and gas companies. This is an exciting opportunity to work for a company that ensures their staff are well trained and looked after. They are offering a rate of £12.22 per hour, this role will initially be temporary for 12-16 weeks with the potential for this to be extended long-term.

THE ROLE
You will be part of a small and friendly team. This is a varied and busy customer facing phone/email based customer service position where you will be helping support the Contact centre who deal with all sorts of queries from customers and businesses. You will be helping answer general queries, dealing with complaints and other ad-hoc duties.


TYPICAL DAILY JOB DUTIES - WHAT WILL YOU BE RESPONSIBLE FOR?
- Communicating with customers via phone and email
- Order processing
- Using SAP systems on a daily basis
- Dealing with general customer and consultant queries regarding their gas and electricity contracts
- Dealing with an average of 60 calls per day whilst multitasking with other administrative tasks
- Providing an exceptional level of Customer Service

PERSON SPECIFICATION
- Previous customer service and office based administration experience is essential
- Confident and excellent telephone manner
- Strong customer service/communication skills
- A solid understanding of Microsoft Office packages including Outlook, Excel, and Word
- Highly organised with the ability to multitask and prioritise
- Previous contact centre experience
- Punctual, reliable and experience of working well within a team
- Needs to have a positive attitude when dealing with complaints

- £12.22 per hour
- 37 hour working week, Monday - Thursday (09.00-17.00) and an early finish on Friday`s (09:00-16:30)
