Job Description

Brook Street are working with our client in Ballyclare to recruit a new full time and permanent Customer Service Advisor

Key Duties & Responsibilities

* Assistance in the generation of quotations and preparation of documentation for customers
* Preparation and processing of job cards and invoicing
* Checking of staff clocking times to jobs and updating / correcting as necessary
* Ordering of parts required from various suppliers.
* Checking received parts deliveries in / out
* Producing a monthly stock check / report.
* Issuing PPE to Technicians
* Answering incoming telephone calls
* Daily reports and updates to customers where required.
* Daily updating of time board
* Assistance in workshop planning / booking jobs in
* Liaising with other internal departments to aid flow of information to and from the Bodyshop

Required criteria

* Strong administration and organisational skills are essential
* Excellent level of computer literacy and previous experience of using Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and Outlook
* Ability to work as part of a team
* Ability to communicate effectively (verbally and written) at all levels, both internally and externally, in a professional manner (must be confident with telephone communication)
* Full and clean driving licence
* Be self-motivated, proactive and have the ability to work on own initiative
* Have the ability to prioritise effectively, be highly organised and have a thorough work ethic, producing a high level of accuracy in work output
* Be willing to accept change and have the ability and flexibility to adapt accordingly as business needs require
* Be able to prioritise a busy workload

Desired criteria

* Previous experience of working within the automotive / accident repair industry would be advantageous
* Previous parts experience or knowledge/familiarity with vehicle parts would be desirable
* Previous experience of using an electronic Bodyshop management system such as EMACS would be desirable.

Core hours of work will be Monday to Friday; 8:30am - 5:00pm with flexibility to work on Saturday mornings as required.

Salary will be decided after interview based on experience and performance at interview
