THE ROLE

I am currently recruiting for a Customer Contact Centre Agent to join our client's team in Telford. You will be the face of the Customer Contact Centre, contributing wholeheartedly to a seamless customer experience by developing meaningful relationships with our customers, taking ownership of our customer's journeys with the business and providing a best in class level of service. There is no Sales element to this role.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES

  • To develop key relationships with the external sales team, ensuring that there is alignment between both teams' activity
  • To ensure that sales orders are accurately processed to a high standard
  • To ensure that all administration duties are always completed professionally and promptly
  • To ensure that all standard operating procedures are understood and adhered to
  • To ensure that all inbound calls are answered promptly & professionally
  • To ensure that all inbound emails are dealt with promptly & professionally
  • Dealing with projects that come into the business
  • Commit to our company values
  • Develop & maintain basic understanding of all the company's products across all brands through continued and focused self-learning
  • Attend all product training proposed by your manager.
  • Provide all communication to internal and external customers in a professional manner and within agreed timescales when required
  • To liaise with diffuse sales teams as necessary, establishing excellent working relationships
  • To build and maintain excellent relationships with key stake holders within the business relevant to your role

PERSON SPECIFICATION

  • Experience in a customer service/call centre role
  • Well-mannered, professional and friendly telephone manner
  • Data entry skills / IT skills
  • Ability to commute to Telford
  • Listening and communication skills

SALARY AND WORKING HOURS

  • Salary up to £22,000 + 8.33% bonus (£23,832) *Based on company and individual performance
  • 37.5 hours per week
