Job Description

Brook Street Recruitment Agency have the pleasure to work with a well-established client based in the Loughborough Area representing their student accommodation.

Working Hours:

4 days on and 4 days off on a rotated basis; 8am-8pm
60 minutes lunch

Salary: £20,000 per year (£9.50 per hour)

Key Accountabilities:

  • Manage and maintain full responsibility for all administrative duties, which relate to, accommodation enquiry, bookings and payments
  • Proactively pursue debt from customers where required, maintaining appropriate communications and records regarding progress in debt collection and management
  • Provide an excellent internal and external customer service focus to include, but not limited to answering the telephone, dealing with some high volume and also unique customer queries and requests for support, both face to face and via email
  • Co-ordinate and lead on accommodation tours with a positive, professional and knowledgeable approach about the property, in order to maximise conversion of enquiries to confirmed bookings;
  • Have the confidence to deal with occasional challenging situations between residents, which may require the ability de-escalate misunderstandings and confrontations between residents
  • Liaise with out of hours University personnel on relevant incidents, events or concerns where required to maintain partnership relations
  • Provide a warm, friendly and professional welcome to all residents, guests, visitors and contractors


  • Knowledge of software systems including MS Office and databases
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Have the ability to competently manage at times, a high volume fast-paced workload in a sometimes-challenging environment
  • Experience in a call-centre environment
