Job Description

I am recruiting for an Customer Service Advisor for a leading UK Insurance Broker based on the outskirts of Solihull, they are offering a salary of up to £22,000.

THE ROLE
Working within an existing team you will be responsible for the day to day queries of personal and commercial lines customers with risks ranging from Personal Motor, Home, Taxi, Motor Trade, Property Owners, Commercial Combined and Fleet; duties will include mid-term adjustments, change of policy document control and finance plan changes to name just a few. With the help of the senior management team you will look to identify opportunities to grow the book through offering relevant cross sales and referral leads.

A leading and longstanding UK independent insurance broker who offer support to and cover a wide range of sectors including but certainly not limited to commercial, property, motor, specialist and personal.

TYPICAL DAILY JOB DUTIES - WHAT WILL YOU BE RESPONSIBLE FOR?
- Responsible for the dealing with inbound calls and email queries
- Dealing with office administration and finance queries
- Organise daily work to ensure compliance is met at all times
- Liaise with Underwriters to discuss adjustments made to policies
- Identify other opportunities to help grow the Business

PERSON SPECIFICATION
- 1+ year personal lines and/or commercial insurance knowledge
- Previous phone and email-based customer service experience within the insurance industry
- Experience working within insurance brokerage is ideal
- Excellent customer service skills
- Able to communicate effectively and professionally with others (directors, colleagues and external clients), both verbally and in writing
- Organised and pro-active
- Stable work history, be able to explain reasons for leaving previous positions
