Job Description

Working for a large Central Government Department, based at Birmingham International Airport. You will be responsible for marshalling and directing passengers, who have recently arrived in the UK.

This role will be on a temporary ongoing basis in line with business needs.

In this role you will:

- Have great customer service skills
- Be greeting and directing newly arrived passengers from flights
- Ensure passengers have the correct paperwork before being moved into relevant queues

What we need from you:

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- The ability to provide excellent customer service
- Enjoy working with members of the public and be comfortable speaking to people face to face
- Have the ability to work as part of a team
- Have flexibility with regards to working hours, as roles involve working shifts including weekends, Bank Holidays etc.

Essential Criteria

- You must be able to provide all ID documents we need to complete your pre-employment screening and security clearance. The roles are subject to SC (Security Clearance) and ASC (Air Side Clearance)
- These roles are classified as "reserved" and applicants must hold a current UK passport
- You must be able to provide evidence of activity for the past five years and two acceptable proofs of address

The rate of pay being offered for this role is £12.75 - £13.24 depending on shifts.
